The Big Issue<\/i>‘s fiction edition has become one of biggest selling short story collections in Australia. All submissions are judged ‘blind’, with no names attached. This year we are inviting all writers \u2013 of whatever age, established, emerging, or just keen to have a crack \u2013 to send us stories.<\/p>\n
This year’s theme is as simple as it is tantalising:\u00a0Make Me Smile<\/b>.<\/p>\n
Which suggests that this could be a very good year for humour. Though, as always, lateral thinking is encouraged.<\/p>\n
Stories must be no longer than 2500 words<\/strong>.
