In fact, I have drafts of about six on my hard drive, but while I have intermittent internet access it&#8217;s a bit challenging. I promise. Really. Coming soon, blog posts on: Frans Hals Museum, <em>The Anatomy Lesson of Nicolaes Tulp<\/em>, polders, gables and cornices, and more. Much more.<\/p>\n<p>In the meantime, here&#8217;s two views I&#8217;ve been gazing at a lot lately, while I contemplate life, the universe, and everything.<\/p>\n<p>First, the view from La Place, the cafe on the fifth floor of the V&amp;D in Haarlem.
