Inga is an experienced professional writer with a long and illustrious career in the public sector, including working with the Commonwealth Ombudsman and Federal Parliament. She has supervised and mentored staff in writing effectively and persuasively, and delivered tailored training workshops across a range of agencies. Inga is an expert at writing reports that convey meaning and don't instantly send their readers to sleep.

Inga has a Masters in Australian Literature from the University of New South Wales. She was recently awarded her PhD in Creative Writing at QUT, which included her detective fiction novel, Fatal Development.

She is the author of entries in the DLB (Dictionary of Literary Biography) on Australian writers, Gillian Mears and Marele Day.

Inga is the winner of a Scarlet Stiletto Award for her short fiction, which was published in Scarlet Stiletto: The First Cut.

She is currently working on an eco-thriller novel.
