We received a rich mixture of entries to the 2008 Perilous Adventures short story competition.
And so many: the ladies at the local post office were very impressed
with our overflowing postbox! We feel so lucky to have been able
to read your work, which ranged from the humourous to the tragic,
the silly to the sublime. From such a diverse and talented field
of writers it was a challenge to choose our winners, but finally
we narrowed it down to a shortlist, and chose a winner.
‘Ten Letters, Unsent’ by Cameron Brockmann
‘The Mirror’s Kiss’ by Caroline Fletcher
‘Saturday Mornings’ by Robert Cocker
‘Dogs’ by G Fitzgerald
‘Ten Letters, Unsent’ by Cameron Brockmann
In this issue, you can read the winning stories. We hope you enjoy reading them as much as we did.
