2010 Competition Details

The 2010 Perilous Adventures Short Story Competition is NOW CLOSED.

The longlisted and winning stories will be announced at the Brisbane Writers Festival on Friday, September 3, 5:00-6:00 pm in the SLQ Auditorium 2.

The four winning authors will be invited to read from their work during this celebratory session, and to participate in a discussion of the short story with Cate Kennedy and Sue Gough.

The winning authors will have their stories published in a special issue of Perilous Adventures, and will each receive a three month mentorship (worth $1250.00): an opportunity to work closely with an experienced writer and mentor on developing their skills as a writer.

Longlisted entrants will be offered enrolment in an Olvar Wood onLine (OWL) course of their choice.
