Prizes

Each of the prizewinning writers will receive a three month mentorship valued at $1250.00 from Olvar Wood. A mentorship is a unique opportunity for you to gain focused individual support with your writing. During the three month period you will work one-on-one with an experienced writer and mentor, developing your skills as a writer. The winning  story and up to three shortlisted stories will also be published in the September issue of Perilous Adventures. The winners will be announced during the Brisbane Writers Festival.

Longlisted entrants will be offered a place in Olvar Wood onLine's (OWL's) Fiction course. OWL's online courses are self-directed: ideal for writers with limited time on their hands, or those who simply prefer working at their own pace, in their own space, on their own time.
