Guess what? Rupetta got a favourable mention in The Washington Post. In a fabulous article by Alyssa Rosenberg called ‘20 ways to fix Hollywood’s woman problems‘ (no, the answer is not that Rupetta will DESTROY THE JOINT).
This is super double awesome because two years ago today I was in York, in a superbly strange ‘haunted’ pub, launching her.
Happy Second Anniversary, Rupetta, and Miri and all the gang. And enormous anniversary thanks to Ray and Rosalie Parker at Tartarus Press, who made the magic happen.
It’s kinda fun imagining who would play the characters in a film adaptation. Who would you cast?
Congrats nike! Wonderful article by Alyssa Rosenberg and a great credit to you and your protaganist - plus the idea of who will play Rupetta in the movie adaptation is an exciting speculation - maybe it will be picked up by an innovative filmmaker!
Romeo and Juliet's Olivia Hussey as Miri
Oh yes! Those big dark eyes :)
