I’ve watched this about 5 times now. I love that it’s so sweet and innocent and joyous, and the way he tells the purpose of the story at the end without being trite. It completely captures the way kids sometimes use lanuage in a more meaningful way than adults simply because they haven’t learnt the standard way of describing a feeling or object.

I teach piano, and once a 4 year old mid-lesson referred to the sustaining pedal as the “smudge pedal”, with the most endearing sincerity. “Oh, you mean the smudge pedal?” Smudgy sound, ahhh, I love it!

I’m glad you enjoyed the video, and that it connected you with a similar experience of feeling the wonder of a child’s insight and intelligence. I think it’s a wonderful video – personally, I love the sense of it being a collaboration (of equals) between the child and the adults that made the film.
